Outpatient - Adult
Lakeview Center provides several options to help you achieve recovery from mental health and substance abuse disorders. The programs allow you to continue with the regular activities in life while you’re in a treatment plan and working toward a better quality of life. The programs are available to both men and women who are 18 years old and older.
If you prefer to receive behavioral health care in a convenient, private setting, this alternative program may be just right for you. Our compassionate psychiatry staff members provide medically appropriate care for disorders that affect mind, mood and behavior. Summit Group offers a Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) plan and a specially trained and licensed physician is on staff who can prescribe Suboxone® to suppress cravings while blocking the effects of opioids. Intensive outpatient programs are available at this 30-bed inpatient location situated on beautiful Pensacola Bay in a tranquil, natural setting. Our outpatient services are offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. until noon, and during the evening from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. In addition to intensive outpatient services, The Friary specializes in detoxification, specialized residential treatment and partial hospitalization. Some of our services include medical and nursing care, group therapy, psycho-educational therapy, individual therapy, family therapy and recreational therapy. The Friary also has a strong alumni program with caring members who support one another throughout a life in recovery. Psychiatric Support Services
Local psychiatric services are available to support you and your loved ones. Some of the services include but are not limited to: psychiatric evaluation, crisis counseling, short-term and office-based management, case coordination, therapeutic injections and medication management and refill assistance. Assessments and referrals to other program also are available based on your needs as well as recommendations from our psychiatrists or ARNPs. When you or a loved one is coping with a mental health issue, substance abuse disorder or both, our outpatient counseling service is a wonderful resource. Brief, solution-focused therapy is available in individual and group settings. Assessments and referrals also are provided. Victim Services/Sexual Violence program
Anyone who is the victim of a violent crime deserves compassionate support and understanding. Our kindhearted, experienced team is here to provide a path to recovery. All of our services are free and available regardless of when the crime occurred or whether or not the crime has been reported.
We are skilled at providing Trauma Informed Care to help you overcome the emotional effects of such an experience. We provide immediate, non-judgmental intervention and incident-specific counseling for victims and families through individual, group and family counseling and victim advocacy. Located in Milton, Florida, Avalon Center is a resource for residents living in Escambia or Santa Rosa county who need help with mental health and substance abuse disorders. Our team takes a comprehensive approach to treatment using outpatient counseling, psychiatric services and a social activity program. Screening appointments must be scheduled. Outpatient counseling – This service comprises assessments and screenings for children, adolescents and adults who need help with mental health, substance abuse or co-occurring issues. We provide intervention, prevention and treatment using individual, family and group counseling.
Psychiatric services – These services include evaluation, medication and case management services for children, adolescents and adults. Our case managers provide targeted case management for adults who have severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.
Century Clinic in northern Escambia County provides an adult social activity program for people with serious and persistent mental illness. The program is designed to enhance community living and social skills that help clients live in the least restrictive environment and remain in the community.
