New Hospital Administrator at West Florida Community Care Center

Pensacola, Fla. (January 24, 2019) – Meredith Olsen, M.S., LMHC, was promoted to the role of hospital administrator at West Florida Community Care Center (WFCCC), an 80-bed Florida treatment facility managed by Lakeview Center, Inc. Olsen has been a Lakeview team member since June 2000.

In her new role, Olsen will supervise both administrative and clinical operations of the facility including the facility budget. Most recently, Olsen worked as the program director, a role in which she was responsible for educating staff on evidence-based and person-centered practices.

Working to achieve the Mission of helping people throughout life’s journey, Olsen’s work objective is to provide the highest quality assessment and treatment service to person with mental illness. She will adhere to the same standard in providing education on person-centered and trauma-informed practices as well as being an accountable role model for staff.

Olsen has a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of West Florida. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. In addition, she is a Qualified Supervisor for LMHC interns seeking licensure in Florida.
