Lakeview Center Access Behavioral Health Achieves Accreditation

Pensacola, Fla. (March 2, 2020) –  Access Behavioral Health (ABH) a division of Lakeview Center has received Full accreditation by the National Committee for Quality Assurance( NCQA) as a Managed Behavioral Healthcare Organization (MBHO). The Full three-year accreditation is the highest accreditation level awarded by NCQA.

"This NCQA Accreditation positions Access Behavioral Health as one of the premier managed behavioral health organizations in Florida," said Brent Patton, director, Access Behavioral Health.

The NCQA seal is a widely recognized symbol of quality. Accredited organizations must pass a rigorous, comprehensive review and annually report on their performance. For consumers and employers, achieving this seal is a reliable indicator that an organization is managed well and delivers high quality care and service.

NCQA is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. NCQA accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations. It also recognizes clinicians and practices in key areas of performance. NCQA’s Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) is the most widely used performance measurement tool in health care. NCQA’s website (ncqa.org) contains information to help consumers, employers and others make more-informed health care choices. NCQA can be found online at ncqa.org, on Twitter @ncqa, on Facebook at facebook.com/NCQA.org/ and on LinkedIn at linkedin.com/company/ncqa.
