GCE Welcomes New President of its Organization

Pensacola, Fla. (December 1, 2021) – Global Connections to Employment (GCE) an affiliate of Lakeview Center, Inc., welcomes A. Dwight Davis as its new president. He is the third president in the organization’s 40-plus year history. 

Dwight brings more than 28 years of leadership experience to the organization, and he is most excited about helping people with disabilities find meaningful jobs, including veterans. Dwight served in the United States Air Force for 26 years retiring as chief operations officer/commander of the 58th Operations Group. Most recently, he served as director of operations at The Rockhill Group responsible for the execution of Department of Defense, Federal Aviation Administration, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Services contracts across 37 locations nationwide and overseas.

In his role as GCE president, he will lead a team of more than 1,500 people who help connect people with disabilities to job training and career placements. The organization manages military and business contracts to provide a broad array of services in areas such as mail distribution, document management, mail center operations, clerical support services, contact center operations, food services, health care housekeeping, IT and custodial services. The GCE corporate offices are located in Pensacola, Florida, and manage work contract sites in multiple states and the District of Columbia.

Dwight received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration Operations Management from Auburn University in 1991 and a Master of Aviation Science with Distinction from Embry Riddle. He was a Distinguished Graduate from the U.S. Air Force Air Command and Staff College and was awarded a Master of Military Operational Arts and Science. Dwight was selected for a National Defense Fellowship at the Naval Postgraduate School where he earned the Military Officers Association of America Advanced Joint Warfare Award.
