Global Connections to Employment (GCE) knows the job market is competitive, which is why we offer a robust and comprehensive benefits package to help you and your family throughout your work and personal journey. In addition to offering voluntary benefits like medical, dental, and vision plans, we also provide employer-paid benefits, including paid time off. Benefits are effective on the first of the month, after 30 days of employment.

Medical Plans

Our medical plan is offered through Florida Blue. In-network preventive care is covered at 100%. Prescription drug coverage is included.

Members save 10% - 85% on most prescriptions at 60,000 pharmacies nationwide. Additionally, you can compare prices and find participating pharmacies for the discount program.

Teladoc

Teladoc is a service on the GCE health plan that serves as a convenient alternative for non-emergency medical care. Teladoc provides 24/7 access to a physician right from your computer or mobile device.

Dental Plan

You have the option to see any dentist you choose, however you will pay less out-of-pocket when you visit an in-network provider. The dental plans offer preventive and diagnostic screenings at no cost in-network as well as discounts on other services (including child orthodontia).

Vision Plan

Take advantage of our group discount with generous vision care benefits.

Supplemental Life and AD&D

Coverage is available for you, your spouse and dependent children.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

Set aside pre-tax money from your paycheck to pay for certain unreimbursed medical expenses.

Set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for transportation expenses such as fare cards, tokens, vouchers, and van pooling services. This benefit is only available to those who live and/or work in Washington, D.C and Virginia.

Health Savings Account (HSA)

An HSA is a tax-exempt account exclusively for paying qualified medical expenses. (Team members must be enrolled in the HDHP to utilize this benefit.)

Paid time off accruals and regulations vary per work location.

Employer Paid Full-time Benefits:

Basic Life with Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)

Be comforted knowing you have Basic Life and A&D insurance coverage valued at twice your annual salary (minimum $50,000 - maximum $300,000).

Employee Assistance Program

Free, confidential counseling and resources help with issues like depression, substance misuse, work/life balance and child care. Financial counseling also is available.

Defined Contribution 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan

Our 403(b) retirement savings plan is managed by Voya. Once eligible, GCE will match 50-cents on the dollar up to 6% of your contributions, with a maximum employer contribution of 3%. Full-time team members are eligible for matching contributions after one year of employment and after working 1,000 hours within the year. Team members may defer their own income up to the maximum allowable deferral as identified by the IRS.

Travel assistance

Team Members can receive help with things like visa and passport requirements, pre-travel immunization information, emergency travel arrangements and prescription replacements

Funeral planning services

This online support center offers resources your beneficiary may need to file a claim, plan a funeral and get financial or legal advice

This convenient service provides 24/7 access to a national network of board-certified physicians who can diagnose over the phone and prescribe routine medications and have them sent to your local pharmacy.

This trustworthy resource is available to answer your health care questions 24/7. Simply login, submit questions and receive a response from a medical professional within 24 hours at no cost.

Dental Benefits

Basic Life and AD&D Insurance

These benefits are provided to those team members enrolled in the part-time benefits bundle. Basic life provides a $50,000 benefit for team members only. A matching $50,000 AD&D benefit is also included.
