What began as a discussion between four friends at the home of Dr. Syd Kennedy continues to develop as a major provider of health care to our community. Believing firmly that God was leading them in the endeavor; they began the first stages of building Baptist Hospital. This soon became a combined effort of churches and congregations across Pensacola as they sought to raise not only funds, but prayers and petitions, seeking God’s continued blessings on these endeavors.

In addition to your private prayers, we invite you to share prayers and blessings with us. Send us your prayers, blessings and well-wishes for our place of healing in the community and all the lives it touches. Once collected, many of them will be displayed in various locations throughout the hospital, including patients’ rooms.
