FFN Welcomes New Child Welfare Services Team Member

Pensacola, Fla. (July 28, 2016) – FamiliesFirst Network (FFN) of Lakeview Center is pleased to welcome Jenn Petion, MA, APR, to the team as Director of Administration and Special Projects. Petion comes to FFN from Partnership for Strong Families and is passionate about child welfare support. Since February 2007 she held a variety of roles most recently as Director of Community and Government Relations.

At FFN Petion will serve as the main point of contact for departments such as human resources, IT, finance and facilities management, to coordinate administrative support. She also will support government relations.

“The work of our child welfare case managers is challenging,” said Petion. “My role is to help facilitate administrative support and advocacy on behalf of our child protection system so they can solely focus on protecting children and strengthening families.”

Petion earned a Master of Arts in Political Science with a graduate certification in Public Affairs as well as a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. She has achieved the following: Accreditation in Public Relations; Child Welfare Case Manager Certification; Quality Assurance Reviewer Certification; Family Team Conferencing Certification.
